Topo Athletic Women’s Ultrafly 4 – Running Shoes

All-rounder for door-to-trail runs

In theory, the Women’s Ultrafly 4 from Topo Athletic are simply fantastic road running shoes. But in practice, they can do (almost) anything. Roads may be their bread and butter, but the grippy sole functions just as well on forest paths and dirt roads, too! Even easier trail routes are perfectly achievable with these shoes. This is ensured by the outsole’s powerful grip, as well as the well designed cushioning, which makes the shoes a pair of very comfortable companions. In addition, the cushioning is supported by the two-part midsole system with different degrees of hardness between the forefoot and the middle of the sole. Their excellent fit is achieved thanks to the guide over the last, the lace guide on the thin, comfortable tongue and the cosy, cradling heel counter. Plus, an antimicrobial, orthopaedic footbed from Ortholite flatters the foot and is part of the new environmentally-friendly strategy from Topo Athletic, as it is partly made from recycled materials – just like the functional mesh of the upper. What further improves comfort for runners with an inclination to pronate is the integrated pronation support.
